Pearls: a royal signature

The Queen's beloved three-strand pearls were central to her look, and Kate has worn variations of them for solemn and celebratory occasions — a long triple strand soon after the Queen's 2022 death and again at a Buckingham Palace reception on April 21, 2026. For the Queen's funeral Kate chose a four-strand pearl choker with a diamond clasp, a piece she had also worn at Prince Philip's 2021 funeral.
